Hi I'm Val

I was born in Mexico city. I am a sushi fanatic, a premed student who loves to have fun and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to learn about anything, but especially about the human body. I am a senior in college studying health science. I aspire to be a physician assistant one day. Currently I serve as a student director on campus and have my EMT license. I like to play basketball and do anything outside. I am a very athletic girl who loves to laugh and make others laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

There were times in my life when I didn't know if this church was true. Through the hard days in live there was nothing that brought me more peace and joy than the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made the darkest of days into the brightest. I know that this church is true and that through Jesus Christ we can come to know what true peace feels like. God has a plan of happiness for you and for me. This plan has given me the knowledge of eternal families. We can live for time and all eternities with the ones we love because of Jesus Christ. God and Jesus Christ know me personally and have a plan for me. I know that if I stay true to these things, I will be blessed. I know that this church is led and guided by a living prophet who is lead by Jesus Christ himself. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and it is the keystone of our religion. This book is the reason I have a testimony for myself and the reason my life is totally different. So you ask, Why am I Mormon? To simply put it, it has changed my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. My faith is something that has become more of a lifestyle rather than a religion. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want other to come to Him. Through daily praying, scripture study, and daily service I can show Christ that I love Him. He has done so much for me that this is all I can do for Him.
