Hi I'm Kenton Leftwich

I was born In Arizona and moved to Utah in middle school. I work on engines. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mechanic. I love working with my hands, tinkering, getting new scars... sounds weird, but it gives me a sense of accomplishment, and an interesting story. I'm halfway though my associates degree in automotive technology, but I'm taking time off to dedicate the next two years to serving the lord. I love playing the piano, besides working on cars this is one of my favorite hobbies because I love music, and I love making mine even more!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and grew up learning about Jesus Christ, and My Heavenly Father. As I grew up I made some unwise decisions and started distancing myself from the church and its teachings. while never completely leaving the church, i cared less about what it had to offer me, and more about what the world had to offer. this continued for several year until my final year of High School. I had several friends who were putting their papers in and leaving on missions. I thought about their decisions to serve as missionaries and the examples they had been to me throughout my high school years. This made me seriously reflect on my life, and I realized that my life, while it wasn't terrible, was lacking in more ways than one and was seriously missing something, the gospel. looking back I saw that I had made many mistakes, and that as I stood right then, I was not worthy to serve. While my desire to serve a mission was not necessarily weak, my desire to repent and change my life was stronger. As I worked though the changes that needed to be made, having my ups and downs, my testimony of the Atonement as well as my wanting to serve a mission became stronger. I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and received my witness of the truthfulness of its content. that started my desire to build a relationship with Jesus Christ, and the Lord. Several events in my life boosted that desire repeatedly until one day, I decided that I was ready, and worthy to serve my Father in Heaven. I am not perfect, and I still make mistakes on a regular basis. Buy my desire to be the best I can be right now is what makes me stand up, no matter how hard, and how often I fall. I love my savior, and my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my Church meetings, constant study of the Book of Mormon, and a desire to live and grow in the gospel.
