Hi I'm Dallin

I grew up in Michigan and moved out to beautiful Utah. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a hardworking young man who has a little under a month until I leave to serve the people in Saltillo Mexico. I love to serve others and participate in fun outdoor activities, like cliff jumping and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has made my life so much happier and easier, and it gives me a sense of peace to know the truthfulness and the knowledge that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings. I love the gospel and know it is the only truth on this earth. I know that the prophet of this church and his disciples commune with god and have been given revelation to lead His church. I know the atonement of Jesus Christ is real and heals. I love Jesus and The Lord and all they have given for me and all of his children. I know the Book of Mormon was written by holy prophets and given to us to help us. I know joseph smith is a true prophet and the link that brought back Christy church back to the earth today, and I say these things in his holy name, even Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by study and by service. Visiting my peers and collaborating with them is one of the many ways we help find service to help others who need it in our ward and community.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

We believe that baptism is a very essential part to returning back to our Heavenly Father. It is a symbolism of us as gods children, being born again into the fold of Christ, and being numbered among his sheep and being cleansed. When we are baptized, we receive a remission of our sins and we are cleansed and make covenants with our Heavenly Father to live as best as we can so that we can have his spirit with us, or the Holy Ghost, which is conferred upon us after we are baptized. Being baptized is a symbol of being cleansed with water, and after this when we receive the Holy Ghost, it is symbolized of baptism by fire. So baptism is really a 2 step process in which we are cleansed and make covenants with our Heavenly Father and then we receive the Holy Ghost to be our constant companion. Or in symbolism terms, we are baptized by water and fire. Show more Show less
