Hi I'm Dillon

I'm from a small town in Wyoming. I love the outdoors, basketball, and my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from high school and will be serving a two-year LDS mission. After my mission I am planning to attend college for business. I love basketball, both watching and playing. Spending time outdoors is also important to me. Fishing is my favorite, whether I catch something or not I love being in the mountains. I have a great desire for learning. On top of it all I love my family. I can never spend enough time with them. Especially my adorable nieces and nephews who can quickly make my attitude change when I'm down.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I can't imagine myself without this gospel. This church and gospel is at the base of who I am, I could never do enough to repay our Heavenly Father. It is a church centered around the family. That is probably the biggest reason why I am a Mormon. I love my family so much and want to be with them for all eternity.

How I live my faith

Nobody is perfect, but we have the example of Jesus Christ to show us how to be. Everyday I try to be just a little better and take a step or two forward. However, it definitely does not always happen, and I sometimes end up taking a step or two back. That is why we have been given the great gift of the atonement. Christ gave his life for us so that we might live, so that we are able to repent and one day return to our Heavenly Father. By studying the scriptures, praying, attending my church meetings, attending the temple, etc., I know I can live again with God and my family.
