Hi I'm Linda

I am from New Jersey but now live in Texas. I love to create quilts and embroidery. I am a Grandma to 20+. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I spend time creating quilts and embroidery gifts mostly for my children and their families. I was a single mother with five children for ten years when I met my wonderful husband. Together we have nine children. I love to travel and serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 22 years old. I was struck by the happiness the members had by following the Lord and knowing who they were, why they are here, and where they will go after this life is over. I felt the spirit many times as I learned more and more about the church. I was always confused by the Trinity and when I heard about my Heavenly Father and His Son and the Holy Ghost as one in purpose, but separate entities, I knew it was true doctrine because God is not a God of confusion, but the gospel is simple to understand. I love the feeling of brother and sisterhood among the members of the church. I know I am a daughter of God and He loves me. I will continue to strive to be more Christlike because of this knowledge.

How I live my faith

I am currently working with the youngest children in the church. They have the sweetest spirits and teach me to be loving and kind without judgement. Soon my husband and I will serve a mission in California. I love the other women in the church and we share many special times together and I know they will always be there if I need help and I am happiest as I serve them.
