Hi I'm Noah

I grew up in Northern Michigan. I'm a soon-to-be student at BYU, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there, I'm Noah! I'm a graduate of Elk Rapids High School, and soon I'll be an excited and happy missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Peru Lima West Mission (Spanish-speaking)! When I return I plan to become a Mechanical Engineering student at Brigham Young University, specializing in Engineering Management. I really enjoy the subject and hope to make the world a better place from it. My favorite pass-times include watching movies, playing video games, listening to music, and volunteering. I love joking around (a good joke goes a long way), spending time with friends and family, and learning new things. I really enjoy meeting new people, too!

Why I am a Mormon

I live my faith constantly. That's why I love it so much, because I know how happy it makes me. By keeping the commandments given to us and by simply aligning ourselves to His will through our faith, we can experience the perfect joy in living with our families forever! Who doesn't want that? I will simply state my testimony by asking you to read John 20:30-31. This to me is a perfect summary of the scriptures (The Book of Mormon included) and of this gospel. We have it so that we may know of our Savior and of our Heavenly Father also. I testify that the Spirit will witness unto you the truthfulness of The Book of Mormon. This is another perfect set of scripture that we use with the Bible, and with it, we gain the entire truth of the Lord's gospel. I know these things are true, and you can find that truth for yourself. And with that, I say these things in the name of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have had many positions in my Church. I grew up in a small one, one with about fifty-or-so attending on average weekly. There I spend my time currently as an Executive Secretary. Our Church leader has me schedule meetings, form agendas, record discussions at these meetings, and several other things. I was at first aprehensive, though in the end I was incredibly grateful to accept the position! I learned a lot, and never will regret it. Other than that, I bless the sacrament at this Church weekly, which is such an honor! I occasionally teach lessons about the gospel to the other youth, which is very helpful to me. Soon, as I stated above, will be a full-time missionary in Peru, where I can help others learn more of this perfect gospel!
