Hi I'm Davis

I'm from Boise. I'm an Eagle Scout. I'm going on my mission to Guayaquil, Ecuador. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Boise my whole life, and graduated from Centennial High School in 2014. I love acting in plays and singing in musicals, making people laugh, being outdoors, and just being with friends! I am going on my mission to the Ecuador Guayaquil West Mission (Spanish speaking) and I report to the Mexico Missionary Training Center on August 27, 2014. I couldn't be more excited! After my mission, I'm going to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I was raised in an LDS family, so when I was a kid, the Gospel was always something that I believed, but didn't really know why I believed it. Over time, though, I started paying more attention, and now my testimony of the truth of the church has grown significantly. I love listening to my friends and their problems and trying to help, and I've realized that the happiness that this Gospel has brought me is incredible. It's unmeasurable. When I share the truth with someone and see the look in their eyes, it just multiplies that happiness. That's why I'm going to Ecuador, that's why I share it with my friends, and that's why I'm a Mormon. Because the church offers an eternity of happiness that we can't even imagine. I want that for me, I want that for my future family, and I want it for everyone.

How I live my faith

I was on the Stake Youth Council in my area of town, which organizes a youth conference for LDS teenagers and goes around to the different wards in the area to speak on missionary work, and I loved every second of it! I am going on my mission to Ecuador to spread the Gospel that I know is true, and until then, I am an instructor for the men in my church. I love sharing the Gospel with my friends, and I can't wait to go to BYU, where I can be surrounded by people who share my beliefs and standards!
