Hi I'm Ryan

I moved to Idaho and found the LDS church. I was baptized when i was 16.

About Me

Growing up I've always been a fan of computers. After I serve my mission in the Micronesia-Guam mission from 2014-2016, I will be going to BYU-I to study Computer Engineering. During the summer I enjoy being with my family doing things like camping, fishing, and board games.

Why I am a Mormon

Before high school I lived in Colorado with my mom, while my dad lived in Idaho. My mom was a Catholic, along with her parents and most of her side of the family. So with my mother and grandparents, I would go to church with her. The summer of my 8th grade year about to go into high school, I felt that I was led to move in with my dad in Idaho, where he actively practiced being a Mormon. Once I saw my dad's membership in the church, I wanted to be a part of it. So He grabbed the local missionaries and I started to take the lessons given by them. With some talking with my mother, she finally let me be baptized when I was 16 years old. She even came up to my baptism! It was great to know that even though she wasn't a part of the church, she would still support me in everything I did. Since then I have been a part of God's restored church. Now out of high school, I am only 2 months and 10 days from entering into the MTC (Missionary Training Center) and becoming a missionary myself!

How I live my faith

I love the structure of the church and how organized it is. I was a secretary for the 16-17 year-olds in my ward. Being in charge of something really does feel great, especially when no one is going to scold you for making a mistake.
