Hi I'm Payton Pratt

I'm a missionary serving in the Colorado Fort Collins Mission. I love God, family, friends, and basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My nickname is P-money. I've moved 11 times. Basketball is my game. I eat a lot. I like sleep, but I'm always restless. I am serving a mission in Fort Collins, Colorado Mission. I love sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this church and grew up with it my whole life. I took it for granted for a while, but soon realized what this church gives. It gives people hope, understanding, peace, friends, a relationship with God, and ultimately happiness. I see that in my life as I serve others, keep the commandments, and love God with remembrance that He has given us everything for our benefit and growth!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each week, reading scriptures daily, praying ALL the time whenever and wherever(gotta keep that relationship with God). I try to serve my community and others as much as I can. Serving others brings happiness and love into our lives. I live my faith by trying to be the best person I can be and by sharing with others the message of Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Payton Pratt
A few of the many things that tell me there is a God is... 1. Our physical bodies. They are amazingly complex and powerful "machines" that make life interesting and thrilling, painful, and fulfilling. 2. Our spirits as well. They cope with, struggle with, and embrace emotions and feelings such as depression, anxiety, excitement, fear, hope, motivation, understanding, love and many more. 3. Our minds make it so we can use judgment, reason, and logic providing for ourselves much learning and growth. Why do we strive to learn and work to improve in this life? It is a drive that we all have(or have had). Where did that drive come from to become better and achieve great things? It came from when we lived with and then departed from our Father in Heaven, God. We were determined to make it back to Him with control over a body. Having learned how to control it, it would enable us to experience blessings incomprehensible. God, our Father, sent Jesus Christ to be the advocate between us and Him so we could have the chance, if we choose it, to come home. Show more Show less
