Hi I'm Carl

I'm a retired educator who worked for the L.D.S. Church Educational System in the San Francisco Bay area of Northern California.

About Me

I'm a grandpa with a doctors degree who enjoys fly fishing, history, rock hounding and exploring new places. I enjoy these things best when someone from my family is along. My wife and I have a goal to expose our children and grandchildren to as many good experiences as possible while we have the health and strength to do so. A more important goal we have is to share with our family and others the principles and values of our faith that have made our lives full and complete. One of those principles that has guided our lives and comes from the Book of Mormon is that by small means great things come to pass.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the mormon faith, but I am an active member because I have studied, prayed, and tested the principles of my faith until I have gained a testimony of it's truth for myself. This journey has been the most soul satisfying adventure of my life. It has given me a perspective that makes everything in life worthwhile.

How I live my faith

I have been active in leadership and teaching positions in both the adult and the youth organizations of the church. I have even served as a Bishop over a local congregation of members. These experiences have resulted in helping me to grow in love for God and for my fellow beings. I have observed first hand the things that make a happy life and I have seen the merciful hand of God reach out to bless His children in their difficult circumstances on many occasions.
