Hi I'm Ike Alder

I play lacrosse, I love to cook and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school graduate who will be headed to college after a 2 year mission. During high school I underwent two knee surgeries to repair torn ligaments. I also had the amazing chance to travel to West Africa to work with the amazing people in Ghana. I love everything to do with math, dinosaurs and space. During the summer I hike, bike and swim. In the winter I ski! I have two dogs and two sisters. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love the church and what it teaches. Christ is my savior and my redeemer who is my best friend and the greatest example to me. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and have found it to be true. Some things in the church don't always make sense, but if I live by the principles that I have been taught, it soon makes sense. I am so grateful for the sacrifice of Christ's life and all that he has taunt me. I know that Joseph Smith is a true and mighty Prophet who brought about the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thomas S. Monson is the living Prophet and a man called of God. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my entire life. My favorite way of living my faith is by living like Christ. Trying to be kind to everyone. I have served in the seminary council and loved trying to be a light to everyone I met! I since have been called to serve a mission to Chile Concepcíon where I will be teaching about and representing Jesus Christ and His church. Over the past few years my family and I have served in the homeless shelter and food bank where we could act Christlike and help those in need.
