Hi I'm Samuel Pankratz

I grew up in Utah. I've played soccer my whole life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Utah my entire life. I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I've played soccer for my entire life and have loved every minute of it! I love to read lots of books and I love Star Wars!!! After serving a mission I plan to attend a university to further my education. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, they are such incredible blessings to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for one simple reason, because I know it's the right thing. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church, that through this church, I can be saved, that I can be with my family for time and all eternity. I know that Jesus Christ lived and died for us. I know that He is my advocate, my Savior, and my Redeemer. He is always there for me no matter how good or bad I might be at the time. I know these things because the Holy Ghost, the third member of the Godhead, is my constant companion, a companion I have had since I was baptized when I turned 8 years old. President Thomas S. Monson was chosen by God to lead this church and he will never lead it astray. President Monson truly is a prophet, he truly is the Prophet. I hope that some day I can be a fraction as good as he is and as faithful he is. The Book of Mormon is the most true book on this earth, and anybody can come closer to our Father in Heaven by really thinking about the words that are written in it. I love this gospel and I love this church.

How I live my faith

I absolutely love going to church and I love learning about the gospel. In my experience one of the best ways to learn about this church is to read the Book of Mormon and I have. I study that book every single day and I have come to love it more than anything. Throughout my life of being a member of this church, I have had the opportunity to be in several different leadership positions and I have come to rely on the Lord just a little bit more each time I had those opportunities. Soon, I will give up 2 years of my life in the service of God by serving a mission. There is no greater way to give back to Him than to serve a mission.
