Hi I'm Conner Wise

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I played baseball. I am a convert. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I converted when I was 11 years old. I enjoy music and sports. I played Baseball throughout high school and have a special place in my heart for the game. I started serving a mission on September 17th. I am in New Orleans, Louisiana come and find me to learn more about Jesus.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said before, I converted when I was eleven years old with my mom. Later when my brothers turned 8, they were baptized as well. I visited many other churches before converting and none of them had the warm and special feeling I felt when I attended the LDS church. I attended the visitors center at the Mesa Temple and watched the Joseph Smith movie there and got the same feeling I got when I was at church. I knew then that the LDS religion was true.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full time missionary serving in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana mission.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Conner Wise
There is a strong tradition of missionary service in the Church. The Savior taught, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Church members consider it a privilege to show their love for other people and the Lord by sharing the gospel. All willing and able young men (18 years and older) are strongly encouraged to go. It is not a "requirement" but it will greatly help young men to gain knowledge and grow spiritually and mentally. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Conner Wise
As a mormon myself, I try and look for opportunities to help and serve whoever is in need, religious or not. As we are all humans, we should all look to help out whoever needs it regardless of religion, race, nationality, etc. Show more Show less
