Hi I'm Morgan Maurine

I'm a marathon runner. I'm a college student. I'm a sister. I'm a daughter. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love to run. It makes me happy and helps me solve any problems that I face in life. I love running distance races and have competed in several marathons. I am attending college to become an elementary school teacher. I received my associates degree in one year and can't wait to return and finish my degree. I'm happiest when I am outdoors. I love to hike, camp, and explore. I love reading the classics, 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 are my two favorite books. I am interested in adventure, and I remain curious.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to be raised in the church. Yet, I have found that through much study and interest in other religions I have come to know the truthfulness of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for myself. I rely on the gospel because of the way it shapes me and my life, it brings me peace and love. I live this gospel because it makes me happy. The scriptures give me guidance, I also take comfort in reaching out to our Father in Heaven in prayer, and have a firm faith in modern day prophets. I know this church is true. I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through example. I follow the principles that are taught by prophets because by living them I am happier and I feel my life runs far more smoothly. I have always been a diligent member of the church since I was 8 years old and I have been privileged to participate as counselor and secretary to many presidency's within the youth groups within the church. Now, I am serving the Lord as a full time missionary in San Antonio Texas.
