Hi I'm Cody

I grew up in Utah, now in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Cody and I am known for as a laid back and nice guy. I grew up in the church and have always wanted to go on a mission. I grew up playing sports and tried a lot, including: football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and golf. My favorites are soccer and basketball. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and being creative.

Why I am a Mormon

Like I said, I have been a Mormon all my life. It's a bit different compared to being a child in primary and then maturing and being in the older kids' classes. I have learned through personal experiences and challenges that absolutely everyone goes through their own conversion. Whether you are a convert or grew up in the church like me, you will go through a conversion. Throughout my life, I have developed a stronger and stronger testimony about this church. I know for a fact that it is true. It makes sense to me and gives me a correct explanation why we are here on this earth. From what I have told you, I have learned from the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord's Spirit testified to me and to every other member that it is true. I am a Mormon because the Book of Mormon is true. I promise you that true happiness and blessing comes from reading the Book of Mormon and keeping the Lord's commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. I go to sacrament meeting where we take the sacrament and listen to talks given by ward members. I would attend class for the second hour and then meet as men for the third. I would participate in mutual nights which would be on Wednesday or Thursday. I would also participate in temple trips with the youth. Sometimes I would teach lessons to other youth in class or go out with the missionaries.
