Hi I'm Millie Scott

I'm a college student, a pianist, and an aspiring Data Scientist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been playing piano for 14 years. Music is a really big part of my life. I'm a sophomore at BYU Idaho. I'm studying data science--basically a mix of statistics and computer programming. I'm the oldest of six children, and we're all filled with tons of energy and love to laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that God is real and good, and I believe that Jesus Christ is His son. Following their teachings and guidance, I have a better idea of how to navigate through life, whether things are going well, or if things aren't so great. Being a part of this church has helped me overcome feelings of fear, doubt, and confusion. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings joy and hope. I also love going to a place where we all love one another and have a desire to lift and help each other.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week to be spiritually uplifted and learn more about our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Occasionally, I get to play the piano and accompany the hymns we all sing. I also go to Church-sponsored activities to get to know members of my congregation. It's always so much fun to interact and make friends with people who share my beliefs and values, and it's awesome knowing that I have a family that always has my back--and I always have theirs.

What is being a Mormon like?

Millie Scott
Being a Mormon has brought me so much happiness! I feel very blessed to be a member of this Church. It's really comforting to have the knowledge that I can be with my family forever even after death, and that God lives and loves me. I have also seen a definite change in my life ever since I began to read the Book of Mormon daily. Its teachings are so enlightening, and I truly feel God's love when I take in the words of Christ. Being a Mormon, I have also learned the importance of serving and loving others. When I lose myself helping others, I feel closer to God. Show more Show less
