Hi I'm James Holland

I grew up in West Valley. I am currently on a mission in Virginia and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am like to refer to myself as a Jack of all trades, master of none. I love trying new things, and so I have now spent a lot of time learning how to play the guitar and a rag tag assembly of other instruments. I've taken 5 years of Chinese and love the language, culture and people. I love sports, and although I'm no professional, there are few things I like more than getting teams of friends (or missionaries together and playing a demolishing round of Oompa or football. I love this Church and know for myself that it is the kingdom of God on Earth. I've both lived these principles and not lived them. I can therefore testify that living the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings great happiness; meaning that not living them brings misery and pain. I love the Savior and invite anyone and everyone to learn more about him!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I spend time studying the book of Mormon, I have experienced what we refer to as the Holy Ghost, confirming the truth of the gospel to me. I have the great gift as a missionary of seeing others experience that same conversion frequently.

How I live my faith

As a missionary I spend all of my time focused on teaching others about our savior, Jesus Christ and his love for them. I have the privilege of seeing God's hand in the lives of many people and experience daily the wonders of his love.
