Hi I'm Kendall

I grew up in California. I attend BYU-Hawaii. I want to travel the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kendall. I am the 4th of 5 children. I grew up in a part-member home, until recently when my dad got baptized. I am originally from California, but I go to school in Hawaii. As much as I love the beach, I prefer colder weather. I love to be outdoors exploring new places. I listen to all genres of music, but country is my favorite. I also love to read books.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for a lot of reasons. I was raised in the church by an active mom and non-member dad. Every Sunday, my mom would take all 5 kids to church with her. I knew early on in my life that I wanted to be just like my mom and raise my kids in the church. Though life hasn't always been easy for me, I have been able to lean on the Lord for guidance in every decision that I make. Through reading the scriptures, I have gained a testimony of their truthfulness. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true because I have prayed and asked. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today. I am grateful that someday I will have an eternal family and be able to live with them for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am currently a Visiting Teaching Coordinator in my ward in Hawaii, which entails checking up on the girls in my ward to make sure they are doing okay. Before moving to Hawaii, I had various callings in my singles ward. One of the funnest callings I had was being on the fellowshipping committee. This allowed a group of single adults to go out and visit members that we haven't seen at church recently. It allowed us to rekindle friendships as well as get to know people we haven't met before. It was a great opportunity.
