Hi I'm JoAnne

I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four children, sixteen grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, and a great husband. I am a school teacher and love watching children learn. Reading, working out, traveling and family activities are hobbies I enjoy.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been converted to the Church over years of activities and involvement. As a child and young adult I learned the doctrine "line upon line", and as an adult, my study of the scriptures and the teachings of our leaders continue to resonate with me. As I try to live the principles taught, I find peace, direction, motivation and joy. Social issues are not frightening or confusing to me because of the direction offered by our prophet, who I know is inspired by God. I know God is real, that He lives, and that Jesus Christ is His son, and our redeemer. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and know it to be true. I testify that Joseph Smith is a prophet, that he translated the Book of Mormon as inspired by a loving Heavenly Father. Thomas Monson is a living prophet today and can direct us to spiritual safety and growth.

How I live my faith

Working with children, youth, and the women in my Church have been fulfilling opportunities for me. I have taught many ages of students on Sundays, including adults. Visiting neighbors and helping at times of need are important to me.
