Hi I'm Heidi

I am from Logan, Ut. I am a student and future full time missionary. I love being outside, and I love my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and grew up in Logan, Utah. I attended one year at BYU-Idaho, which I absolutely loved! Despite my feeling of not wanting to go to Idaho, I have grown to love it up there and can't wait to go back! I am majoring in Health Science with plans to go to Dental Hygiene school. I recently decided to serve a mission after a humanitarian trip to Honduras. I received my call to serve in the England London South Mission and I couldn't be more excited! I absolutely love being outside, whether it be boating, hiking, skiing, or just laying by the pool I love it! I climbed the Grand Teton with my dad when I was 17 years old, and it is an experience I will never forget. It taught me that even if you are hardly moving, you are still making some sort of progress and will eventually reach your end goal. I ultimately just love my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was very active in the church, but I have learned for myself that this is the only true church on this earth. I love this gospel because it gives me purpose in life, and makes me not afraid of what my future holds. Without the gospel in my life, life wouldn't have a purpose for me. I would be so lost and confused. Knowing that Heavenly Father is always there to listen to me and comfort me when other people can't is amazing. The peace and happiness I feel from this gospel is indescribable. I know without a doubt that this is the true church and that Joseph Smith did restore it to this earth. I am so proud to be Mormon, and I don't know what I would do without it in my life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example every where I go. I have learned that actions speak louder than words, and I try to show that I am a disciple of Christ every day, all day. One way I love to show how I live my faith is through music. I have played the piano my whole life, and I love playing church songs, the spirit you feel when you play them is amazing. I am also living my faith by following the call for youth to serve missions. I will leave my family for 18 months to serve the Lord. I will devote all my strength and effort into teaching others his glorious plan for us, and how we can be together with our families forever. Although this scares me, I know that if I trust in the Lord and know that he has a plan for me, he will lead me to the people I am supposed to teach.
