Hi I'm Bethany

I love to sing and play the piano & guitar. Daisies are my favorite flower. I'm a returned missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a home with an awesome and loving family. I'm the oldest of 6. I have 5 younger brothers. (Yes, I'm the only girl). Music is my life! I love singing, and playing my guitar and piano. I have performed in many talent shows, church meetings, and just for fun. I have been dancing since the age of 3. My passion is for clogging, which I have done for 11 years! I also enjoy country swing. :) I love to read a good wholesome book and watch movies in my free time. Hallmark channel movies are my favorite! I love daisies so much that I named my dog Daisy. :) I served in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. I love the people of New England! It will always have a place in my heart. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I have been going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints my whole life. I'm so grateful for my parent's example and them raising me in this church. My real testimony wasn't born over night. I have always loved this church and had a good feeling about it, but it wasn't until I was older that I truly gained my own testimony. The first time that I remember truly feeling the spirit was actually through music. I know that music can touch someone's soul in a way that nothing else can. This all happened when I was at a church youth camp called EFY or Especially for Youth. All week, we were talking about the Atonement. Honestly, I didn't fully understand the Atonement prior to coming. When we had testimony meeting that night, it all clicked and came full circle about the Atonement. I had many emotions come over me. That Christ really did suffer for all of our sins and through this, knows exactly what we are feeling and going through. I felt the spirit so strong in those minutes. From that moment on, I have known that the church was true. As it has been a few years since this experience, I have built an even stronger testimony of this gospel. I have grown as a person and so has my testimony. I know that this church is true with all of my heart! This gospel brings us true happiness! I'm so blessed to have this in my life! :) I was so blessed to share my testimony with the people of New England. It truly help build mine!

How I live my faith

I love this church so much! I always enjoy going to all of my meetings and activities. Going to church helps me grow and learn so much each week and it's such a renewal and a fresh start to a new week. I usually learn something new each time I go. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be! I'm not perfect, but I try to read my scriptures and pray daily. I enjoy helping others and try to show love and kindness to those around me. I also live my every day life in trying to follow His commandments. I have Christ as my example and I'm always striving to be more like Him!
