Hi I'm Ashlyn Hatch

I'm a Junior studying Social Work, I am about to serve a mission in Japan, I love Nutella, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my second year at Utah State University studying Social Work. I love going to school, learning, and meeting new people. I love the outdoors, getting dirty, and exploring new sights. I spend a lot of time having fun with my family. We like four-wheeling and snowmobiling together, along with our very competitive game nights. In high school I ran cross country and track...mostly because I love being active, but am not coordinated enough to participate in any sports with balls, rackets, or any sort of equipment. I love Nutella and Ranch...apart...together...it doesn't matter, but they are a large portion of my diet. I am also the "Pictionary" and "Catch Phrase" Queen. I always win. I am currently preparing to serve a mission in Japan. I am excited for this opportunity to share the gospel, and to experience this new adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to grow up in a family where the gospel was always taught in the home. My parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors have been great examples in living gospel standards and truths. But I knew that wasn't enough. I couldn't lean on my families testimonies. I had find out for myself. I am Mormon because I know it is true. I have lived it. I have prayed. I know it is true. I know that God loves me, and has a plan for each of us.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by strengthening my relationship with my savior, and making sure I am doing whatever I can to serve those around me, and by doing what the Lord asks every day. It is the simple daily acts of faith, that help me become better. I have recently been called to serve a mission in Japan, and am very excited for the opportunity to share the restored gospel to those I meet. This gospel has brought me such happiness, and I hope I can share that happiness with those I serve.
