Hi I'm Corina Marie Gee

I am currently attending school at BYU-Hawaii. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

About Me

I am from a small town in North Eastern Kentucky. I am currently attending school at Brigham Young University in Hawaii. I am a Social Work major. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am the eldest of soon to be 6 children. I love to volunteer and serve others around me. I love sports and all things adventurous. I graduate next year, and plan to go on to get my Master's and later PhD.

Why I am a Mormon

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt in my mind that this church is true. I strive everyday to follow my Savior Jesus Christ and his teaching and try to be more like him. I grew up in the church, therefore I always had my families and parents testimonies to lean on. It wasn't until I questioned and set out to find if this church was true, that I too came to an understanding. I know that if any truly and earnestly have questions, and read the Book of Mormon with the right intent, that they too will come to the same truths that I have. The church will bless your life in more ways than you can imagine, and I couldn't imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I come from a very small ward where on average there are only 25 people in attendance. People often question how hard it is for me to live my faith in an area where there are so little members, but what they don't realize is that I have chances for missionary work every day. I have served in several callings including a Relief Society counselor (Relief Society is the "woman's group" in our church), Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher, Primary teacher, Chorister, and currently I am serving as the ward Family History missionary. I of course like all others in Relief Society am also a visiting teacher to the other ladies in our ward.
