Hi I'm Rod

I love being a mormon!

About Me

I am married and have six children...a seventh one added recently through an unconventional way. I love being with my family no matter what the activity. Working, playing, eating, hiking, swimming to name a few. My three oldest children are currently serving missions for the church and our most recent addition will be serving a mission soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a family where the gospel of Jesus Christ was taught and lived. My conversion has taken place my whole life. I have always known yet I am always learning. Living the gospel brings peace and happiness to my life. I find a direct correlation to how well I am living my religion to the peace I feel in my life.

How I live my faith

We love our association with members of our community...especially the teenagers. We frequently have dozens of youth in our home for movies, taco night, volleyball or fugitive. My wife and I feel a great love for these young people but also have a desire to teach them about the savior. We try to do this by being His disciples and loving as He loves. I love the scouting program and have enjoyed volunteering as a scoutmaster. I love the outdoors and taking young men on adventures that create memories and skills for life.
