Hi I'm Jacob Dalton

I grew up in Idaho farming and ranching. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I participated in Cross Country,Track and Basketball in High School. I spent lots of time running, always trying to get faster. I also play the guitar and enjoy spending my time outside. I raise Red Angus Cattle and spend most of my time working on the ranch. Sometimes it can be pretty rough but there are lots of good moments that make up for it. Getting to spend time with my family is what makes it all worthwhile. I have 5 siblings and we all enjoy each others company. I also enjoy riding my horse and going fishing and hunting. I know how to weld and enjoy it along with mechanics. From spending time outside I have learned to enjoy and recognize all of Gods creations and everyday miracles.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in a Heavenly Father who put us on this Earth, and who loves us very much. I believe that he sent his son to give us an opportunity to return and live with him. I believe that Jesus Christ was resurrected and that after he returned to the Father, and his apostles died, that his church was no longer organized on the Earth. I believe that Joseph Smith knelt down and prayed and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him. I believe that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God. I believe that the Church is know fully organized with the proper Priesthood Authority once again restored to the Earth. I Believe that Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet of God and that he holds all the Priesthood authority on the Earth today. I believe this because I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to Heavenly father to know if it is true and I was filled with warm peace and joy that tells me it is true.

How I live my faith

I strive to continually magnify all of my callings, and enjoy doing it. I am currently the Family Home Evening Coordinator for my Singles Branch. I spend time coming up with fun activities to help us all have a good time and to serve others. I also hometeach different people in the Singles ward and try to create good relationships so they know that I can help them whenever they are in need. I also have been called to serve in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia mission where I will speak Spanish. I am looking forward to serving the people there and sharing the joys of the gospel with them.
