Hi I'm Beau Kanenwisher

I grew up in Montana, moved to Utah I play rugby and i'm a Mormon

About Me

I love doing things that have to do with athletics. I've played Football and Rugby. In 2013 I played for the High School National Championship winning rugby team, United. I love hanging out with my friends, family and having a good time. Right now i am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving in the Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Mission. Marshallese speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

To start, i was born into this Church. I have never know anything different. Growing up i would hear much enthusiasm about the Church from family and other Church members. It was good environment to grow up in, however it took a long time for me to gain a strong personal testimony about the Church. I did not always completely indulge myself in the Church, i didn't really feel the need to.. But as i came to my Junior year in high school that feeling changed. I was playing on a rugby team. All the kids on the team were wonderful young men and most of them were worthy members of the church. I started to become really good friends with some of the kids on the team. These kids were all preparing to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were all wonderful examples to me. As i looked at each of these friends of mine individually, looking at their personalities, their qualities and so. They were all pretty different. Except for one thing, they were all fully converted to the Church, preparing to serve a mission, and always were worthy to have the Holy Ghost abide with them. I wanted to be like they were. That is when i decided that i needed to actually start searching out the Gospel that i had grew up in, for my self. So i did. I started having daily, personal prayer and scripture study. As I did this and prayed about the truth of the things which I read. I started to gain a very real and strong testimony. Before long I knew without a doubt that this Gospel was true. I have felt the love that Jesus Christ has for me personally, I have felt the power of His Atonement and i have felt of his desire for me to be happy. The gaining of this testimony lead me to the decision to serve a full-time mission. I am so grateful for the example of a couple young men that started me off on this path of happiness. I love this Gospel. I love God and Jesus Christ. The Gospel makes me happy and i can not deny its truth. That is why, I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now, I live my faith by serving my 2 year volunteer mission. By going around and sharing the Gospel with all that are in a ears reach of receiving it. By trying to be the best person and missionary I can be. And by constantly applying The Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ in my life.
