Hi I'm Jeff

I grew up in Arizona and am a 3rd generation Phoenician. I married JoAnne my last year of college and now live in Sandy, Utah

About Me

After growing up in Arizona I attended Brigham Young University where I met and married my wife. After marriage we lived and worked in three western states. We have four children and 16 grandchildren living in three U.S. states. I have worked in commercial real estate in management, leasing and development. We also created a retail company and established stores in regional shopping malls coast to coast. I love spending time with children and grandchildren, hiking the amazing mountain trails of Utah and enjoying the beauty of the earth, golfing and watching college sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be raised in a Mormon family, and am grateful for the anchor my faith has been for me throughout life. During my teenage years I learned for myself of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and committed to a life-long devotion to its teachings. I am grateful every day for the demonstration of God's love through the scriptures he has given us to provide a pathway back to Him. I have a strong belief in the Bible and The Book of Mormon as the word of God. Together we can understand God's will for us and the importance of making covenants with Him.

How I live my faith

I have been privileged to serve in my church in various capacities, but primarily with the youth. I love the strength and testimony of young people today, particularly as they demonstrate their valiance in the midst of worldwide turbulence. Whether sitting in formal classroom settings or under the open stars, I love sharing ideas and feelings about life, living, God, and the influence of a higher spirit in this world. Serving others brings a fuller meaning to life and a sense of happiness and self-worth.
