Hi I'm Necia

I'm a wife, mom to two angel babies and one on the way, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. My husband and I still currently live in Utah. We were married in June of 2010. We've struggled with infertility from the beginning. We were blessed to have an insurance plan cover an IVF cycle 100%. We were continued to be blessed by getting pregnant with twin boys. Unfortunately, they were too special to be here on earth with us. They were born at 21 weeks and stayed with us a little over an hour before returning to heaven. I am now pregnant with another little boy and struggling with pre-term labor. We were also given a 98% chance that he will have trisomy 21, or more commonly know as Down syndrome. There have been many rough spots and patches in our life, but we wouldn't trade it for anything. Without our faith and knowledge in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and the plan of the atonement, we wouldn't be the same people we are today.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon and continue to be because of the many blessings that have come from it and continue to come from it. There have been many times in my life when I have questioned, why me? Why do I have to go through this? The sense of peace and comfort that comes over me every time I ask Him those questions reassures me that Heavenly Father is very aware. I'm reminded that he will not give us trials that we can not handle and we are never alone, He is always by our side and knows the pain that we are feeling.

How I live my faith

Through the struggles of our journey so far in life, it has been very important and vital in my life to turn frequently to the teachings of the apostles and the teaching found in the Book of Mormon. It brings a sense of comfort that eases the pain. It gives me the strength to continue on and have hope for greater and brighter things. My husband and I are very grateful for our knowledge in the atonement and it brings us great peace. Knowing that our family has been sealed together and that we will live with our sweet boys again brings us a great knowledge of peace and comfort. In addition to regular church attendance on Sundays, we also enjoy being able to attend the temple and do a session so that we can feel the peace and calm of our Heavenly Father and His love for us.
