Hi I'm Isaac Hopkin

I'm a small town boy who grew up on a cattle ranch.

About Me

I grew up here in my small town loving five things, family, god, the ranch, football, and basketball. During my time here i had the chance to play varsity athletics for my local high school. Also I've had the wonderful to be on a horse most of my life. I rope and ride a horse and get a chance everyday to be a cowboy.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the unique chance of growing up in the faith. It started out at a young age of me just thinking its true because my mom and dad did. However I remember very clearly kneeling down one night and sincerely asking God if all of this was true. An overwhelming warm feeling came over me and ever since then I've never once doubted. The reason I'm a Mormon is nothing brings me more happiness. Just the feeling of peace that the gospel gives is better than anything. Earlier in my life when I was around 15 years old my house burnt down to the ground. I literally lost every physical possession I had ever known. However I was still able to remain grateful. I still had my family and I knew that Jesus loved me and wanted to bless me.Without the gospel I would have fallen apart. The gospel makes any trial possible to get through.

How I live my faith

I just try to be the best example that I can possibly be. I try to share my testimony whenever the chance seems right or if the holy ghost tells me that I should. Luckily for me I've had the chance to attended a young single adult branch. In this branch I have had the chance to participate a lot and also teach some lessons. This has helped me grow stronger and also makes me more willing to share my faith.
