Hi I'm Chuck

I grew up in the Methodist Church in Bourne, Massachusetts. I served 21 years in the Air Force. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love all sports and enjoy coaching baseball. I have 4 awesome children that keep my wife and I very busy. I'm a professional airline pilot and enjoy seeing the United States, Canada and Mexico from the air.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon to be a companion to the Holy Bible. I was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because the Book of Mormon added significant truths to what I already knew about the Plan of Salvation from the Bible. The Book of Mormon gave me the "fullness" of the Gospel. Once I read the Book of Mormon and prayed earnestly to know if it was indeed true, I received confirmation, through the whisperings of the Holy Ghost, that the Book of Mormon was the Word of God. I was baptized at age 33 and have been very grateful ever since to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses my life and the lives of my family every day.

How I live my faith

I try everyday to be a good person and friend to all I come in contact with. I serve as a Ward Mission Leader and love working with church members and the full-time missionaries to try to spread the good news of the Gospel. I try my best to live the teachings of our Savior, Jesus Christ by serving others in need and bringing people closer to Him. Through prayer and obedience to His teachings, I receive help in the form of promptings from the Holy Ghost. These promptings show me who is in need of help or a friend.
