Hi I'm Siteniela

I love Herbalife, I love my family and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am an aunt, I am a daughter, I am a sister, I am a cousin, I am a niece. I sing, I play the ukulele, I play piano. I am no expert in any of those things, but I do know that you don't need to be an expert to help bless other's lives. People assume that I can hula, but I can't. Catch me at zumba though. ;) I am imperfect but I know that I can always improve everyday in all that I do and say. "We cannot control the winds, but we can adjust the sails" and that sums up the type of person I am. I have come to a point in my life where I know I cannot control anything other than how I react. Attitude is everything, choose to be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized and confirmed a member when I was eight years old and grew up going to church every Sunday. Growing up I never had a testimony for myself, and always relied on my parent's testimony. I wanted to join other churches because I loved the fellowship, I loved certain things they did, I wanted to be comfortable with the way I was living. It wasn't until I was invited to read the scriptures did my conversion begin and was able to see how much a difference it made in my life. I never read the Book of Mormon, I never read the Bible, nothing. The Lord has been so merciful many instances in my life where I have made poor decisions and I have learned through those times that nothing else can heal me the way Jesus Christ's atonement has. I've always questioned the many "rules" or commandments set forth but through those experiences, I recognize now that Heavenly Father loves us so much and understands that life is rough. Why would He give us the experience of life without helping us out? I have a solid testimony of the commandments that they are for our benefit to being much happier and living more wholesome lives. I know that I Heavenly Father is always there waiting for us to pray to Him, to communicate with Him. Just like our parents, He knows when we are in need of something. We need to ask. I know that many times when I have prayed and asked Him for help, He has always come through for me. I never pictured myself being a missionary, but here I am. Heavenly Father has been so good and I love Him so much. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that one way I can pay them back is to be on a mission. There are struggles I go through as a missionary but if it is one way I can show them both I love and appreciate them both, I am honored to face those struggles. I testify that I know that Christ lives and I know I can rely on His examples to be a light to those I come in contact with. I am a Mormon, I am a Christian. I love this gospel and so will you!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by working consistently on becoming a better person. Even as a missionary I know I mess up, I know that I am going to stumble sometimes, I am human. But I know that because Heavenly Father loves me so much, He has given us so many things we can access to be able to continue improving each and every time. I know that as I get up and keep trying on becoming better, I will. I know that Heavenly Father understands the struggles and the intentions of my heart and He is so patient as we keep trying. I live my faith by trying over and over again. I live my faith by seeking Heavenly Father's help, because I know without Him and without the help of my big brother Jesus Christ, I can only do so much. I live my faith by learning more about how I can be more like Jesus Christ. I live my faith by doing what I need to in order to strengthen my faith and have it grow.
