Hi I'm Maesa

If I could dance ballroom the rest of my life, I would, I am serving a Mission in California Santa Rosa, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I finished high school a semester early and left Maryland at 17 to begin the process of getting in state residency in Utah. I am studying to be a speech pathologist, and hope to eventually work with high school students with mental disabilities. I love music and fully support frequent dance parties in the kitchen. I think living life too seriously takes the fun out of it, and that we should enjoy the small things. Currently I am serving in California Santa Rosa on an 18 month mission for the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this church because of the comfort and guidance I find through its teachings. I know that the advice and support I feel from God comes from my obedience of His commandments and my willingness to serve Him. I have been going to church all my life, following my parents through the doors of that building ever since I was a baby. When I left home it would have been very easy for me to quit this habit and be distracted by all the things I could have been doing on a Sunday, like sleeping. But my parents taught me well, and even when I was feeling spiritually at my weakest, the church was always there to help me back on my feet, and remind me of the blessings that come from obedience.

How I live my faith

I am a representative of this church. I try my hardest every day to be an example and love those around me. I try to look for opportunities to serve and grow with those around me and be the best that I can be that day.
