Hi I'm Tyler Ashworth

I'm from Utah. I like to play sports and learn about business related things. I have the sickest 4 younger brothers. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I really like to play all sports. I'm just good enough at most of them to where I don't embarrass myself :) Basketball, football and table tennis are probably my top three though. I graduated last year and plan to go to college soon. I love learning new things and reading books. I like being outside and enjoying our Heavenly Fathers great creations. Going on hikes and mountain biking would be a daily activity for me if it were possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormom because it is Jesus Christ's same exact church that has been restored to this earth today, and I wouldn't want to be a member of anyone else's church besides his. Knowing that we have a true living prophet of God that has the ability and authority to receive revelation from God for the entire world brings me so much comfort. To know that no matter where I go or move to all throughout the world that the church will be the exact same is very special to me. God is not an author of confusion and wants his church to be the exact same all throughout the world. I'm also a Mormom because of the way it makes me feel and live my life. Setting high standards for myself that most of my LDS friends also set has helped me more then I would of ever thought. Seeing friends who didn't have high standards get into drugs and heavy pornography, and how much it effected their lives is such convincing evidence that God gives us commandments to protect and guide us back to him. Having Prophets of God who are constantly warning us of these dangerous worldly things helps me remember that true happiness only comes from listening to Gods words and the words of his Prophets. This church brings me so much happiness and joy and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to serve the people around me as much as possible. Jesus Chirst was all centerd on charity so I try to serve others as he would. I go hometeach members of my ward with my Dad and Grandpa at least once a month and try and make sure all their needs are being met. In some of my youth groups growing up I was asked to be one of the leaders so I was usually responsible to make sure they were coming to church activities and made sure they had friends to hangout with. When it would snow a lot I would try and plow a couple of my neighbors driveways so they could stay inside with their families or use their time for other things. This brought me a lot of joy and happiness knowing that I was helping someone and that they appreciated it. I really do feel so much better about myself as I'm out serving. I could do better, but I try and take those types of opportunities as much as I can.
