Hi I'm Blake

I was born and grew up in Murray, Utah. I love football, basketball and BYU. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm Blake. I was born and raised a Mormon and have loved it. My life has not always been easy, but it has been great. I am the fifth of six children and have four older brothers and one younger sister. I love playing sports, especially football and basketball. I am the biggest BYU fan in history and will be attending there after my mission. I am going to be serving as a missionary in the California San Jose Mission speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. When I follow what I am taught in the LDS Church, it brings happiness into my life. I love reading the Book of Mormon and Bible because they bring so much joy and inspiration in my life. Being a Mormon makes me want to help other people and be more like Jesus Christ. I was born a Mormon and didn't always know if that is what I wanted to do, but through many small experiences in my life, I have come to know that this church is true and that it is God's true church on the earth. There is no one giant event that I define as my conversion, but I still think I am being converted. There is so much more for me to learn and that is why I love it. You will never know it all, which helps you to continue to learn more and grow. Being a Mormon will bring happiness is you desire to learn and you do what you are taught.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going out and serving others. I love to participate in service projects and just helping other people. I spend time talking to people who don't normally get visited and I love every minute of it. I have served as a leader in many different youth groups and love to work with other people to help make the lives of other people easier. I will soon be going out to serve the people of San Jose California for the next two years and help bring the love of Christ into their lives.
