Hi I'm Tory Page

I'm the Baby of my family, I love Cats, I play the banjo, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in the Beautiful state of North Carolina my whole life. I'm the youngest of 5 kids. I have 3 brothers and one sister. I Love nature and anything having to do with the good green earth. I really enjoy a nice rainy day every once in a while. I try not to take things to seriously. I like to laugh, laughing's good for ya! I enjoy spending time with old people. I find life stories very interesting. Music is one of my main sources for Peace and Entertainment. I try to be genuine and nice to everyone I meet. The gospel of Jesus Christ has always been the center of my life. It brings me True Joy, I feel I have a real sense of belonging and purpose, and it gives me a perfect brightness of hope! My family is everything to me. And Because I feel that way I'm now on a mission in Long Beach, California sharing this message of Hope with all kinds of people. Life is Pretty Good!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I chose to be baptized at the ripe old age of 8. I grew up going to church and praying and reading the scriptures with my family. Looking back I always had a good feeling when doing these things but I dont think I really understood that it was the Holy Ghost. The reason I'm still a Mormon today is because as I got older a began to really gain a testimony, or an assurance that the things that I grew up learning & doing were good and really from god. When I did more things to strengthen my testimony, like going to church, reading my scriptures and praying, I would without fail have those same feelings I had as a little kid, now realizing that it was the Holy Ghost letting me know that these things were all good and true. As living the gospel became apart of who I was it just became clearer & clearer that this was the path I needed to take. And its a journey, its an everyday, lifelong pursuit, but I know that by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which can only be found in it's fullness in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, can bless and make anyone's life better. I know that because I have experienced it and felt the peace and assurance for myself. And the beautiful thing about the gospel and our heavenly father is that he is willing and wanting to answer all of his children's prayers and give them further light and truth which you will find here. I'm a Mormon and I Love it!

How I live my faith

I think the best way I can live my faith is by following the example of the Savior. I would like others to be able to see the way I live and treat others and know that I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I have many flaws, imperfections and weaknesses, but another way I live my faith is by exercising faith in Christ and his Atonement or the suffering and pain he went through for me and everyone who will ever go through mortality. Since I make mistakes and need to improve everyday I can rely on the Savior to become better everyday as long as I am willing to change and show faith. The gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ have always been a source of strength, comfort, peace, and happiness for me and my family. I've seen how its really blessed and strengthened our family and others around me and that is why for the next two years I am out sharing what I know to be true and what I know can bless lives with others. I think at the end of the day, the best way I can live my faith is by being the best I can be and becoming who my Heavenly Father wants me to become.
