Hi I'm Elin Thompson

I am from Pembrokeshire, Wales, United Kingdom. I am a convert to the church and I am currently preparing to serve a mission.

About Me

I am 18 years old and living in lovely Wales. I was baptised into the church on July the 20th 2013. At the moment I am currently studying in school and also preparing to serve a mission. I am hopefully going to be serving in July 2015. When I return from my mission, I hope to be a Nurse of some sort, but we'll see how that turns out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church is just so true. It gives me a sense of belonging and provides me with a purpose to my life on earth. I know why I am here and I know where I can go and how to get there. The church covers everything you can think of, it is so organised and perfect, its exactly how I can imagine God would want earth to be. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the key to happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping the commandments which have been given to us and following in our saviour, Jesus Christ's footsteps. There are three simple steps that can help us stay connected to God and these are; prayer, scripture study and going to church on a Sunday. I can testify that by doing these things, you will find the truth in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My answer may be short and appear to be simple but that just reflects how "simple" living the gospel can be.
