Hi I'm Brooke

I grew up in Southern California. I love anything adventurous! I'm called to serve in Montreal Canada. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child in my family. I have four amazing brothers who are so fun to be around and are the biggest goof balls! I hope I have a marriage like my parents when I am older. Both my mom and dad feel like they are one upping and feel like they scored the best person in the world. They've always liked to embarrass my brothers and I with how in love they are, but in reality it's just shown me what I want to have in the future. I have great friends who have seen me at my best and my worst. I finished my freshman year of college up at BYU Idaho and now I am preparing to go serve a mission in Montreal Canada! I am someone who doesn't care what people think. I want to have fun. Some of my ideas of fun seem crazy to others, but I like having crazy and embarrassing memories! I love the ocean and the feeling of salty hair and sandy skin! If I could breathe underwater and explore all the wrecked ships and places in the ocean I would be in heaven! The stars amaze me and I can stare at them for hours on end! I love guacamole and California burritos!!!! I want to travel to exotic places and live in the jungle. I would love to have a pet monkey or tiger if that was normal! I love new adventures, but I like to do them when I'm with people I love! I could never do something super awesome if I didn't have anyone to share the experience with!

Why I am a Mormon

My knowledge of the gospel, and my testimony are the most important things to me in my life. The fact that I know I have a father in heaven who knows me personally and is aware of me and loves me because I am his child is incredible. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of my Savior Jesus Christ and that he suffered for me and died for me. I know that there is no way back to my Heavenly Father except through his infinite atonement. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and is the most true book on this earth. I know this because I took it upon myself to find out by getting on my knees and sincerely praying about it. I didn't need a giant answer or proof, I just needed a feeling of peace. I love being a member of this church because it makes me happy. Being Mormon is not a religion. Being Mormon is a lifestyle. And by choosing to live my life according to the standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I am so happy.

How I live my faith

I am called to serve in the Canada Montreal Mission and I am so excited! I love teaching. Not because I like telling other people what they could know, but because I love learning about the gospel. Every time I teach someone else, I feel the spirit and I learn the things that I need to know. I love watching other people gain their own testimonies and have a change of heart. It makes me want to be better and find ways to strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father! The more I actively participate in these things, the better my attitude is and the happier I am.
