Hi I'm Chrissy

I grew up in a small farm town in Utah, my dream is to become a mom and an elementary school teacher and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family! I am the oldest of four and I have a wonderful mom and dad! I just finished my first year of college and I am majoring in elementary education. I am going to be serving a mission and I am so pumped to have the opportunity to share this wonderful Gospel with others! My hobbies include: reading, any type of sports, hiking, sleeping, eating, watching movies, and being with the people I love!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am the happiest when I am actively going to church, reading my scriptures, going to the temple and praying to our Heavenly Father. At times I feel alone I have felt my Heavenly Father's loving arms surround me, and I know that he is always there for me to turn to. I know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, knows exactly what we are going through and that when we feel like nobody understands us, he does! I know that if I live worthily I can be with my family forever, and I can't think of anyone else I would rather be with! I know this church is true and that I am happy because I am a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be kind to everyone around me. The perfect example of this is Jesus Christ, I am striving to be more like him everyday! Currently I work in the nursery (kids in the age range of 18 months to 3 years old) and I am about to serve a LDS mission!!!

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Chrissy
We need a Savior because we can't make it on our own. We are human, nobody is perfect, so we are bound to make mistakes. However, we can be forgiven of our sins because our Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered for every sin, and then he died for us. Jesus did his part and now it is our turn. We need to utilize the Savior's atonement and ask for a forgiveness of our sins. If we truly want to repent and then strive to do better and keep the Lord's commandments we can be forgiven and live with God again. Show more Show less
