Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Pennsylvannia. I am going on a mission in November. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in June 2014. I was a cheerleader for 3 years. Before I was a cheerleader I tried many other sports like softball, field hockey and soccer. But cheerleading was what I loved. I went to a public school up until my senior year, for my senior year I switched to cyber school. I am a nanny for 4 children. I am going on a mission in November. After my mission, I will go to college to major in social work. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love to learn and try new things. I just started quilting and I'm loving it. I love learning about my ancestors lives. I love the gospel. Most importantly, I love my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. I got baptized when I was 8 but I didn't have a testimony of the gospel until I was about 12. That's when I got to really be involved in the church. I had always felt Heavenly Father's love for me but when I started growing up and truly started to understand the gospel that's when I started to feel Heavenly Father's love for me and feel the Holy Ghost. When I went through some hard times, the only thing that kept me going was this church and the love Heavenly Father has for me. I used to be afraid to tell people I was Mormon but now I know its the best thing to share. I know that this is the true gospel and I love it. I would do anything for Heavenly Father because He did everything for me.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every Sunday. I live the gospel everyday. I participate in the activities that are held within my branch. I love the social events. I know through participating in activities I am able to grow stronger in the church. I really feel like I belong there. I am a family history consultant so I am able to help others learn about their family trees. I wear a ring, everyday, that has the letters CTR on it which stands for choose the right. It helps me to remember that I want to follow in the path of Jesus.
