Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Southern California and attend Brigham Young University Idaho. I am the oldest out of four children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University Idaho and I am currently studying to become a History teacher. Some of my hobbies include horseback riding, dirt bike riding, ice skating and other fun activities. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I enjoy reading a great book or editing pictures on my computer with Sai. I enjoy anime and being with my family. I am an open person and I honestly do not mind questions. As my friends have said, I am an open book. I like learning about other people and their lives, especially history related. I talk very often, but when it comes to talking about myself I am a girl of few words.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, but my own personal conversion occurred when I rad the Book of Mormon and have prayed about it. I had my own confirmation that what the Book of Mormon had said was true and that this church is true, especially to me. I am a member because through my faith and by the prophet's guidance, I have come to know my Savior and my Heavenly Father. This gospel brings me happiness, even in the darkest hours of my life, and I am so grateful for that. Forgive me, I am poor with words, but I know this gospel helps me become a better person and helps me walk the path Christ would have me walk. I have trials like everyone else, but I know that the scriptures and the atonement is there so that I can get through this life and come out stronger and better than I ever was.

How I live my faith

I have been a member all of my life, but I love my faith and I do all that I can to participate. I am active and attend all of my meetings and have had many callings within the church. When it comes to my faith, I live it to the best of my ability and I do my best to participate in all that I can. In high school I attended Seminary, which is like bible study, before my school would start and even at my college I am attending faithfully. I have experienced hardships, but have been supported by the members in my ward and I always extend my hand to those who need it.
