Hi I'm Jeremy DeWitt

I grew up in Danbury, Connecticut. I am preparing to serve a mission in the Netherlands and Belgium and I am a Mormon.

About Me

When I was six years old, missionaries knocked on my door. My Dad answered and I am so grateful he did. My parents were both baptized and I got baptized when I turned eight. I am now following my sisters example who is currently serving a mission in Ukraine and got my mission call to the Belgium/Netherlands mission! Can't wait to serve the great people in these countries and bring the message of the restored Gospel to them!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of missionaries who knocked on my door. They shared the wonderful message of the restored Gospel with my family and I have read the Book f Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is true and I urge any one who has questions or doubts to pick it up, and read it. I have prayed to know if it is true or not, and there is nothing or any one who can tell me it is not. I have felt the Spirit and I know the clarity and good feeling it brings. I want every one to feel this great peace and comfort that the Gospel brings. I know that no one is perfect and that Christ suffered and atoned for all of our sins so that we can be free of guilt and return to live with our Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I know this Gospel is true and I want every one to feel the joy and happiness it brings. I strive to follow the commandments and try to recognize when I can serve my brothers and sisters. I visit members who are in the Hospital and I have participated in the Mormon helping hands program after hurricane Sandy hit the Northeast.
