Hi I'm Jacob

I play basketball and rugby. I love my family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Utah, I was able to form many friendships and have some incredible opportunities. From a young age I have loved to play sports. Football, Basketball, Rugby, Baseball, Soccer, Foosball, Pingpong any sort of competition I would revel in. I loved to read as well; Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Historical novels, even Biographies. All of my life I've loved to experience as much as I can. Never really zoning in on one particular aspect, just trying to be well accomplished in as many as I can. Wanting to be more of a Jack of all Trades, rather than a master of one. I was able to become an Eagle Scout, and attend the National Boy Scout Jamboree. That was an incredible experience in which we raised 20,000 dollars for 8 boys to attend. Country music. Ah yes. This is my love. I would encourage anyone searching for some good music to look into the country genre, either the new more poppish style, or the older more sappy style. Either way, everyone can always use a little country music. I'll be attending BYU in 2 years and after working on the prerequisite classes hopefully Palmers to go into chiropractic, until then I will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the Washington Kennewick mission. I'm extremely excited to be able to have the opportunity to dedicate all of my time to My Father in heaven. I hope to make myself, my friends and most of all my family proud of my service.

Why I am a Mormon

In my life despite trying to be clean, being human, I have made many mistakes. Various kinds of transgressions, any one of which, would keep me from dwelling in my Father in Heaven's presence. However, through this Gospel I have been able to learn and come to have a knowledge of the power of the Atonement, and Jesus Christ. This church has changed my life for the better in literally every way. That's the reason I am dedicating 2 years of my life to serve, to try and help others find the joy that I have been blessed to find. So many principles of the Gospel provide comfort in times of pain, and strength in times of weakness. I'm a Mormon because I KNOW it is the truth.

How I live my faith

I've tried to be a trustworthy individual throughout my life, by so doing I've been able to honor my Lord. I try and help those around me, attempting to make their life a little easier. I'll be serving a 2 year full-time mission to Kennewick Washington, hopefully bringing others to the joy I've found. Overall, I live my faith by, despite my many mistakes and short comings, I try and live my life as Jesus Christ would have me do so.
