Hi I'm Brandon

I've lived in Nevada all my life. I have five brothers and I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with five brothers and my family means the world to me. I love them so much. I am going on a mission to Peru for two years and cannot wait to serve the people there. After my mission I will be attending college. I love so many things about life. I love spending time with my family, reading, hiking, swimming, working out, wrestling, listening to music, camping and doing basically anything active. I love to stay busy and feel productive. I also love nature and appreciate the peace and beauty that is found among God's creations. I love America, and the Founding Fathers as well as The Constitution. Batman is my favorite superhero.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church once again restored to the earth, and I know because God told me. That is what I love about Christ's church, it doesn't ask you to believe in it due to tradition, or because other people do, it extends the invitation to every single person to ask God if it is true, and promises an answer by the power of The Holy Ghost. I know everyone who humbly seeks truth will find an answer. What I love about this church is that no truth contradicts it, for truly all truth comes from God and because this is Christ's church, it accepts all truth. I learned of its truthfulness when I was about eleven years old, at that point in my life I decided I needed to figure out for myself if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's true church, so I accepted the challenge from the missionaries to read The Book of Mormon and pray about it. When I did, I couldn't stop smiling and I felt a feeling of peace and light fill me, that's when my testimony blossomed. Since then I have had several confirmations of that truth and I know that when I live the way God wants me to, even when it is hard, I am happy and blessed and that is something I can never deny.

How I live my faith

I will be serving the people of Peru for two years, and will serve many people in that way. Growing up, I have been a member of the Boy Scouts Program and have participated in various service projects because of that, which is something my faith really encourages. I have been a leader of 12-14 and 14-16 year old youth boys in my church, and have also helped plan and coordinate genealogy work for the youth in my church. I visit families in my ward once a month and try to help them and be there for them. I also have helped out in the Temple on multiple occasions. I think the best way to live your faith; however, is in the decisions you make on a day to day basis. So i try my best to be compassionate to others, honor my parents, act with integrity, and do the best I can with the blessing that I have been given.
