Hi I'm Cayce

I was baptized at 16. After a lack of faith for the last 4 years I have found it again and am back at the church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was baptized when I was 16 years old. I went into the Marine Corps and lost faith when I was 18. For 4 years I ventured down a path I didn't want to be on, with what seemed like no way out. Church never crossed my mind the entire 4 years in the Marine Corps. A few weeks ago, church was nowhere on my mind and I had this feeling that I needed to go to church. Out of the blue. I decided then it was time to find my way back to my heavenly father. I am the only member in my family that is Mormon, I chose this path and while the others support my decision, they want nothing to do with it. This has been a long and difficult journey I have decided to jump back into. I am currently going to school and I work full time. I am a very active person and love to be outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

It actually started with my two best friends who were Mormon, they asked if I wanted to go to church with them and I said why not. It just so happened that it happened to be the first Sunday of the month. I was awed by how much passion everyone who gave their testimony had. I wanted to know more about how these people could have so much emotion for something that could not be seen or touched. The missionaries came over once a week to speak with me at my friends house. The more I learned, the more I believed. It is hard to describe why I am Mormon, I do now that Jesus was our savior and that God loves us and made Joseph Smith a prophet and that the church is true.

How I live my faith

Unfortunately my past was very sketchy but I am now working toward being the daughter God wants me to be. Since becoming active in the church again I have never missed a Sunday and am learning as much as I can so I can do my part in the church and for God.
