Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a powerlifter. I'm born and raised in Conservative USA. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an avid Choir enthusiast, having been raised in the #1 Choral Singing district in the country, and am hoping to become recognized as a solo performer/songwriter in later years. I also enjoy Power-lifting as my main hobby. I've competed State wide and am currently holding a position at the top 5% of the Nation for my three-lift-total, in my specific weight class. I enjoy being active, being outdoors, going out with the Missionaries and sharing my testimony when prompted. I am currently preparing to serve a full time Mission starting November 20th. I will be serving in the Uruguay, Montevideo Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a deep, personal and true testimony of the truthfulness of the Restored Gospel on this Earth today, as well as a testimony of my Savior and his willingness to sacrifice everything on our behalf, so that we can repent when we make mistakes. I believe in living Prophets today and recognize and appreciate the knowledge that we receive revelation relevant to our day and age. I have received countless answers to prayers, as my faith has been tested and tried. I have also been blessed to grow up with a Family that has taught me how to love, how to be patient, kind, honest and worthy to receive the blessings that our Heavenly Father has in store, if we simply follow him. I know the Gospel is real, is on the Earth today and is here to help us get back to our Father and Savior in Heaven, as well as live with those we love dearest, our Family, for Eternity in their presence. I have a testimony that we were destined from the beginning to live as Gods with those we love in the Eternities and become as our Heavenly father, enjoying all that he has, should we do all we can to live to the best of our ability in his Gospel, and endure to the end.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I live my faith by attending Church every Sunday, or Sabbath Day, and by visiting members of my Ward with my home-teaching companion. I also enjoy visiting investigators and members with the Missionaries in my Ward and assisting in Eagle projects. I always seek out and listen fr opportunities to invite others to church and share my testimony with others, when appropriate to do so. I pray to my Heavenly Father and read & study the scriptures daily and nightly.
