Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Utah. I love music. I am serving a mission in Nicaragua. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jason. I am 18 years old and I just graduated from high school. Music is a big part of my life. I have played the piano for about 9 years and sang in my school's top choir. I also play the guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and saxophone. I also love to be active. I like to go running and playing sports. Baseball is probably my favorite sport. I water ski in the summer and snowboard in the winter.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have received a testimony of its truth. My parents were members of this church since I was a baby so I have grown up in this church. Growing up, I remember being taught the gospel by my parents and feeling the spirit testify to me of its truth. It was always in small ways, like a small pray answered or feeling the spirit as I learned to serve others, but each one of the small things helped build my testimony a little more. I have read the Book of Mormon and have felt the spirit testify to me of its truth. I am a Mormon because I have lived the gospel and by living it have found joy in my life that can't be found without it.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a youth council. My fellow youth council members and I got the opportunity to plan activities for the youth of the church in our area that were fun but also taught the gospel. We got to have fun while trying to help strengthen the testimony's of the youth. I have been called to be a missionary and I have been preparing to soon depart and teach the people of Nicaragua about the gospel for two years.
