Hi I'm Anna

I love the outdoors. I love to laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently in the middle of University and loving it. Although I am going to a college in a large city, I grew up in a small town. I love going to concerts, movies, and plays, but have always been more of a country girl at heart. I love hiking, skiing, playing sports, boating, and even catching the occasional frog or turtle on the river. Education and schooling has always been important to me, but I find it is best to balance it with going on adventures with friends. My family is at the center of my life. Although we are all very different, I can always count on my family to make me laugh or crack a smile. When I have spare time you can find me reading, singing, taking photos, hanging with friends, or soaking up some sun.

Why I am a Mormon

As a 19 year-old, Why do I go to 3 hours of church every Sunday? Why do I read the scriptures? Why do I want to be a missionary for my church? Let me tell you. I love being a Mormon because of the way I feel. I am happy. I have learned for myself from personal experience that God loves all of us and that we are his children. God is good. I know that the Savior died and suffered for us so that we can be forgiven when we make mistakes, and so that we can learn and grow when we struggle. I know that prayer works. The gospel has given me purpose and direction because I know where I came from, where I am going, and why I am here now. It is either truth or it is not. testify as you search for truth and honestly pray to know what is right, you will receive an answer.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in many ways. I am in no way a perfect or a spectacular person in any way, but I strive to be better. I live my faith by accepting church callings such as teaching youth, or participating in meetings. I live my faith by trying to act like Jesus and to do what he would have me do. I am living my faith by serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the coming months.
