Hi I'm Emily

I was born and raised in California. I like hamburgers and hiking. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy singing and I played the French horn for seven years. I love all forms of art. Charcoal drawings, acrylic paintings, chalk pastels, editorial fashion, and cinematic art are some of my favorites. I love to laugh and I love to make others laugh even more. I am taking a break from college in Hawaii to serve a mission for the LDS church in Honduras. My family consists super crazy supportive and nice people.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon makes me happy. In school I always liked to have an agenda laid out so that I knew exactly what I was doing and how I can manage my time best. The gospel of Jesus Christ lays out a plan for me so that I know what I am supposed to be doing. It eliminates a lot of the guesswork so that I can avoid mistakes and live my life to its absolute greatest potential. I love that.

How I live my faith

My role in my church might not be very important, since I've never held any official positions. But I've been on committees and presidencies and I've always attended my meetings and made myself available to help as much as I can. Recently, I've been trying to go out with the missionaries that I know and meet with people that want to know more about Jesus and his gospel.
