Hi I'm Alex

I'm from Southern California. I'm a Water Polo Player. I'm a Missionary. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a beach bum, Lifeguard, Swimmer, Water Polo Player, and Missionary in Dallas, Texas. I love to be in and around water; wake-boarding, surfing, beach volleyball, you name it. I also love Backpacking and Hiking!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of Prayer. Through reading, pondering, and praying about the Book of Mormon I have received a knowledge and testimony of the truthfulness of these things. little by little my seed of faith has evolved into a continuously growing tree. I continue receive personal revelation that builds upon my faith and knowledge. Just as Jesus said, "for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." to Peter I receive personal revelation. "upon this rock" I have built my testimony of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. God has reveal it to me and he will reveal it you, as you experiment upon his scriptures, the seed (Alma 32).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what Christ did; inviting all to come unto the gospel of Jesus Christ and simply serve my fellowman.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

The Holy Ghost is the a member of the Godhead and an individual spirit. Because of my covenant at Baptism and Confirmation, I have received the Gift of the Holy Ghost. I have made a covenant with God, all those who have made this covenant promise "that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy Son, and always remember him and keep his commandments which he has given them" and in turn God promises "that they may always have his Spirit to be with them." Their are different gifts and feelings we receive from the Holy Ghost. To name a few, the Gift of Prophecy, Gift of Tongues, and Gift of Discernment. Each of use recognize or feel the spirit differently, but each of us will feel his love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22). Through these gifts and feelings we receive guidance and comfort. This guidance and comfort will guide us back to our Heavenly Father through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost also testifies of truth and as you heed to his direction you will know the truthfulness of God's Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Show more Show less
