Hi I'm Morgan

I am a young college student and pole-vaulter. I love being active and spending time with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am enrolled in a Utah University where I am majoring in business and am a member of the track tea where I pole-vault. I was born and raised in Idaho and loved every minute of it. I love spending time with my family and being in the outdoors. I have recently accepted the call to serve as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Santo Domingo West mission in the Dominican Republic for the period of 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with my family as active members of the church. For a long time I was able to attend church faithfully relying on my parents' faith and testimony in the church and of its truthfulness. It wasn't until I began High School started to gain a firm testimony of my own of the truthfulness of the gospel, The Book of Mormon and the teachings of the church. As I began to become more independent of my parents I was able to gain opinions for myself and through prayer gained a a knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel. As I was away from home for college my testimony was again strengthened in a whole new way. I was able to rely on the Savior Jesus Christ to be there for me when my family couldn't. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know if it is true and have received a witness from the Holy Spirit of its Divinity and Truthfulness. I know that families can be together forever through the power of the priesthood and that because of Christ all can be saved and have Eternal Life. That is why I have chosen to serve a mission; to share this eternal happiness with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to share kindness to those around me. Although I do not always do my best I strive to be kind to others and give service to those in need. I regularly attend my church meetings and activities. I have severed in many aspects within the church also; I have taught classes, been a leader for fellow youth peers, and volunteered time in the church cannery and other service locations.
